I’m suprised this wasn’t done much, much sooner. If you are the type of player that uses every advantage available in your nightly pwnage sessions, you just might be in for a suprise when Modern Warfare 2 rolls out on 11.10. The first game to use the Force Game Chat feature, Modern Warfare 2 will require that you enter game chat to play multiplayer. A hazard of the option to party chat, many online multiplayer titles like Gears of War 2 and the Call of Duty series have had problems with players that have been killed off giving other players locations of remaining enemies. While I personally don’t see this as a big detriment to my gaming, I don’t really look forward to the screeching voices, singing, and other asshattery that occurs regularly in game chat. I guess the mute button will return to glory this fall.

yeah the game chat stuff just makes more trash talk and people get annoying, i thought they made party chat for that cause ( to be with people you want to talk to).
but there is a way to talk just to one person or friend just invite them to private chat!

There should be party chat for who ever, whenever. So you cant be in a party? But you can choose not to talk? We might as well just be in parties ignoring who we want. Bot having to go down the list EVERY game to mute all the annoy people! Stupid.
