This weekend a German Video Game Reviewer, Computer Bild Spiele proclaims that Ubisoft attempted to score a favorable review with their publication. Before forking over a review copy of their game they were aiming to get a score of “very good”
The magazine quotes:
“Our reviews are tough, but fair. We will not give up our independent scores for the sake of a timely review. This holds true for “Assassins’s Creed 2″. The publisher asked us to guarantee the score ’sehr gut’ (very good), otherwise we would not recieve a review copy, thus we will publish our review in next month’s issue. We’d be more than glad to give the game a ’sehr gut’, but only if it deserves it.”
I mean who knows if this is true or not, I grabbed this from a site, who grabbed this from a site, and WTF is Ubisoft gonna say “yeah we tried to blackmail someone to review are game with a bias” . The last Assassins Creed was a pretty monotonous experience aside from the stellar graphics. I don’t see it to be too far fetched, looking for a high review score with all of the money vested into the franchise. To be continued…
Assassins Creed was good but it was not great, Right? Tell us what you think? Do think its possible that Ubi did this or are these guys just making shit up? Leave a Comment.
