In a tug of war battle between Activision Blizzard and Electronic Arts, this round goes to Electronic Arts and shifts the title of #1 Packaged Goods Publisher in the Western World back to the fine folks at EA.

Activision had a great run with new versions of WoW, the highly successful Guitar Hero and Call of Duty Franchises.  With the perennial juggernauts like Madden, FIFA, The Sims, and add in titles like Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2, and Left 4 Dead  you can see just how EA reclaimed this title.  What does this title actually entitle the company to?  Nothing really.  Electronic Arts the publicly traded company has taken a beating over the past couple of years, but at least Riccitiello can tell Bobby Kotick to suck it.
