The Xbox 360 Fall Dashboard Preview, contains some cool features.  The Facebook, Last Fm, Twitter, Zune marketplace, but did you know the preview is also including a look at Halo Waypoint?   Halo Waypoint is digital scrapbook of your Halo Accomplishments and Halo Lore.  As if becoming a 5 -star general wasn’t enough of an accomplishment, now players will be ranked on Waypoint as to how much total progress a player has made in all Halo titles.  While limited to only games that were released on the Xbox 360, it looks like Waypoint will be indexing statistics for Halo 3, Halo Wars, and Halo 3 ODST.  Waypoint is said to be available to Xbox Live Gold and Silver members on November 5th.    After the Nov. 26th though Silver members will need to upgrade to Gold membership to have access to Halo Waypoint.  I’m gonna assume that if you are looking at your Halo 3 achievements on Waypoint, you’re not looking at much if you haven’t had a gold membership.  There is a lot of other content though, ranging from descriptions of characters, vehicles, weapons to a preview of the upcoming Halo Anime.  Halo Waypoint has something for the Halo fanboy in all of us.
